- Under the PM Surya Ghar scheme and state solar incentives, eligible residential consumers receive direct DBT subsidies based on system capacity: 1 kW receives ₹30,000 Central + ₹10,000 State (Total ₹40,000); 2 kW receives ₹60,000 Central + ₹20,000 State (Total ₹80,000); and 3 kW and above receives ₹78,000 Central + ₹20,000 State (Total ₹98,000). *T&C apply under residential category. Zynexis handles 100% of the portal registration, inspection paperwork, and direct bank disbursement.
- Once our installation is commissioned and the local electricity DISCOM completes net meter testing, the final commissioning report is filed on the national portal. MNRE typically releases the subsidy directly to your Aadhaar-linked bank account within 30 to 45 days.
- In an On-Grid system, your property automatically switches to the normal electrical grid seamlessly without any interruption. Any excess power your panels produce on sunny days is banked in the grid via Net Metering, which balances out your consumption at night and on overcast days.
- Modern high-efficiency Monocrystalline bifacial panels require approximately 80 to 100 square feet per kW of shadow-free rooftop area. Thus, a 3 kW system needs ~250–300 sq. ft., while a 5 kW system requires ~450–500 sq. ft. Elevated structures are also available so you retain full terrace usable space.
- For residential systems with up to ₹78,000 Central + ₹20,000 State Govt subsidy (up to ₹98,000 total subsidy; T&C apply under residential, minimum 3kW, maximum no limit), the effective payback period is between 2.5 and 3.5 years. With high-efficiency solar panel lifespans exceeding 25 years, you enjoy over 20+ years of virtually free electricity.
